Abrar “AK” Kakarr
Licensed Real Estate Salesperson | Hudson Valley & New York City
Behind every project, every interaction, and every conversation, there is a person with a story worth understanding.

His Story
Abrar’s story began far from the Hudson Valley. He spent his early career building outreach programs, managing media & marketing partnerships, and coordinating civic initiatives that connected thousands of people to resources and opportunities they needed in Kabul, Afghanistan. That work taught him something he still carries with him today; that behind every project, every interaction, and every conversation, there is a person with a story worth understanding.
When he moved to the United States, Abrar brought that same care into everything he built next. He earned his degree in Economics from Bard College, worked in program coordination at Pfizer, and helped lead daily operations for a respected restaurant group in Rhinebeck, always finding ways to bring order, warmth, and clarity to complex situations. Along the way, he found his way to follow his American Dream with real estate. Fluent in 4 languages and learning his fifth, Abrar’s language and communications skills give him the ability to connect authentically with people from many different backgrounds and cultures.
Abrar sees real estate as a natural continuation of everything he has done so far: listening closely, communicating clearly, and helping people find their footing in a new chapter of life. Having built his own home in the Hudson Valley after a long and winding journey to get here, he understands what it means to search for a place that finally feels right, and he brings that same sense of purpose to every client he works with.
